Exploring the Word in Colour and Speech with Katherine Rudolph is an Anthroposophical Therapy in which various aspects of Art, Sculpture, Drama and Formative Speech Therapy are brought together for individual and group sessions. These are of benefit to both children and adults. Challenged people and those with acquired head injuries also participate in sessions which are generally one hour in duration.
Katherine has published a 260-page children’s book with a treasury of verses, poems, songs and speech exercises, which may be purchased on the day as well as at the Therapy Centre front desk.
Katherine was trained in Switzerland and England, and first began working curatively with therapeutic art in 1985.
In 2004 she returned to Melbourne, after receiving advanced diplomas in Speech and Painting Therapy while in Dornach, Switzerland. Since that time she has been working at the MTC and other institutions in and around the Melbourne.
Recently, in February, an eight-week adult workshop exploring the Nature Sketches of Rudolf Steiner has come into being. This may well be continuing in the future.
